Another Day in Paradise

Friday PM Update: We actually slept a good part of the night last night, although Dennis was wide awake at 4:30 ready for the day.  We were both starving and had to eat a granola bar while still in bed.  It is taking some time to adjust, but by the end of Friday we are both feeling very good.  The power has been out since 5:30 this morning and we found out now that the power is on a schedule.  We will have power every other day while we are here.  In the evening and the morning the Guest House turns on a generator for us to use the lights and the internet.  Outside our balcony there is a school with many kids going back and forth.  It is a lot of fun watching them as they playfully walk to school, each in uniform.  Dennis is having trouble getting his computer to work on the network here, so I have to type this message on the receiptionist's computer. Therefore, I cannot get the pictures on this computer to post.  We will get it worked out by the next time we have power. As I was typing this message the generator went out thus the computer shut off so I have to re-type the message.  Funny how we take these things for granted.  We are finding more out all the time about our trip to visit the birth family.  We will leave on Saturday at about 11:00 to travel 3 hours to the Southwest to meet the family at a neutral location.  They are traveling about the same amount of time in our direstion to meet us.  There are many emotions surrounding this as you can imagine.  However, we are very excited to have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet them. To keep this from getting any longer, we are feeling great, eating good food, and sleeping well.  All of which we have prayed for.  Thanks be to God!   YG'ers - if anyone has questions about the accomodations here just leave a reply post and I will answer or find out for you.
