We now have our itinerary for our travel to bring Micah home! We will leave Wednesday May 20th and return the evening of May 30th. Leaving from Kansas City, we will have a layover in Washington D.C. and then have a direct flight from Washington to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The plane will stop in Rome for refueling but we will not even get off of the plane. It will be a nice, relaxing, and comfortable 15.5 hour flight! It will be better on the way there than it will be on the way home with an eight month old! We are certainly not looking forward to the flight, but it has not dampened our enthusiasm for the trip. We are so anxious to hold Micah and to bring him back home, but we are also anxious to see his home as well. It is possible that we may be able to travel to his birthplace and meet some of the people of his village. We are not sure if that can happen, but we will know for sure in the next week or so. We are so blessed to have this opportunity and we thank all of you for your prayers of support. We ask that you continue to pray for the preparations and for our travel.
We know that God is faithful and we trust Him in all things and look forward to continue down this journey He has for us.
